The BXL TOUR, the 40km cycling race through the streets of Brussels is back for a 7th edition on Sunday 18 June 2023. The race that originally attracted mainly advanced cyclists is becoming more and more accessible to the general public. On Sunday 18 June, for the 7th time, the BXL TOUR will be the event where professional cyclists and cycling enthusiasts come together to take on the challenge! As usual, the 40km course will start at Place Palais and finish at the foot of the Atomium, crossing the streets of the Brussels Region. The chance to discover our capital in a unique way! Since 2022, the Ride category was introduced, with a shortened course of 32km. This category without classification is open to people who want to complete the course in bike mode or by electric bike. MASTER - Minimum age of 19 years - Minimum average speed of 40km/h for 40km - No electric bikes in this category CYCLO - Minimum age of 12 - Minimum average speed of 20km/h for 40km - No pedelecs in this category RIDE - Minimum age of 12 years - Minimum average speed of 16km/h for 32km - Electric bikes allowed - No final ranking Find the complete rules on the official BXL TOUR website: www.bxltour.be Participate with your friends or family? Yes! Make it a sporty and challenging morning and register as a group (min. 5 persons). In addition to the individual classification, since this year there is the group classification. The entire group must do its best to ride a good time. Besides the group atmosphere, you also get a group discount during your registration! Added bonus: A sprint segment will be installed on the 40km course, at the Royal Park Avenue, between the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwvoorplein and the Royal Greenhouses of Laeken. This makes for an extra exciting moment just before the finish line! A separate ranking will also be drawn up for this.
