Ben Caplan is a Canadian singer-songwriter. His style is very particular, a mix of folk, vintage Americana and traditional klezmer music. All drenched in a nice dose of humour. His work is steeped in Jewish culture, both in the lyrics and the melodies. His deep, raspy voice is reminiscent of Tom Waits', but it would be too simplistic to limit himself to this comparison.He already lit up the Roots & Roses festival in 2012, when he was just starting out.
