The second part of a diptych (after Ithaque – Notre Odyssée 1), Le Présent qui déborde tackles the question of migration with infinite depth. Christiane Jatahy spent a year meeting these people forced into exile. From Palestine to Lebanon via Greece, South Africa and Brazil, the Brazilian film-maker and director recorded the accounts of refugees through the prism of Homer and his Odyssey. She gives them a voice in a lively, sensitive space where spectators are actively involved in the artistic creation.
