Les Souffles is a choreographic and acoustic performance created in collaboration with contemporary dancer and musician Mathieu Calmelet, sound artist Octave Courtin and visual artist Ludivine Large-Bessette. Like a landscape unfolding on the stage, three individuals encounter strange wind sculptures. Together, they surrender to the rhythm of human and mechanical breaths, electrified by live digital processing. The LAC Project collective invites the audience to a musical and choreographic symphony, rejecting the boundaries between organic and mechanical, acoustic and digital, and conceiving new relational modes between the human body and its environment.
