If it is sometimes complicated to organize an outing to discover the artistic and cultural worlds, why not bring them to school? It is with this idea that the Wittockiana - Museum of Book Arts and Bookbinding (Woluwe-St-Pierre) proposes you to take part in the Nomadic Museum!
Through a light, adaptable and interactive device, our animator goes to classes of all horizons (primary, secondary, social promotion, higher education) to speak to them about the history of books and writing, but also about the museum world through an exceptional book heritage. In concrete terms, objects testifying to the past, precious works, a video, didactic sheets, but also a creative workshop to create a notebook based on a simple binding process from which to elaborate a collective poetic narrative! Over the course of two hours, the young people turn the pages of History from their own and learn about a variety of practices. To promote accessibility, each activity is adaptable (age, language level...) and the price of the animation is particularly low, even free.
