From 1947 to 2002, Nero appeared every day in the newspapers. You will recognise the anti-hero by his big nose, bow-tie and his two precious hairs. Marc Sleen was a prolific cartoonist and liked to allude to current affairs, but his funniest characters were pure fabrications: Mrs Pheip, Halyard, etc. The Marc Sleen museum is located in rue des Sables.
