Educational kit

Would you like to talk about the European Union with your class but you don't know where to start? Don't look any further, as Europe Direct Brussels has thought of you and put together a superb educational kit!

This kit was designed for teachers of 10 to 12-year-olds and lower secondary school students. It will allow you to easily address the theme of the EU with your students. With the help of different documents, you will be able to lead four small workshops and learn more about the EU, its history, its culture, its geography and its impact on daily life.

This kit, available in French or Dutch, can be borrowed free of charge and is made available to you for a period of 14 days.

Conditions for borrowing the kit

  • To borrow this educational kit, simply send an email to europedirectbrussels@visit.brussels
  • We will agree together on the borrowing dates, i.e. when the kit is available
  • The kit must be picked up from the BIP at Rue Royale 2-4, 1000 Brussels, during BIP opening hours.
  • The educational kit is borrowed for a period of two weeks from the date of borrowing; you are expected to return the kit on the agreed date
  • Loans are free of charge
  • A loan form must be signed at the time of borrowing (inventory, loan dates and conditions, contact information)
  • It is expected that the kit is returned complete and in good condition - The kit has a value equivalent to €50, and any significant damage or loss of part of the kit will be charged.
  • The kit is available to teachers in the Brussels-Capital Region. It was designed for 10 to 12-year-olds and lower secondary school students
