The Art Cities Leisure Experience Survey 2023 is a large-scale survey conducted at regular intervals. It is the result of collaboration between visit.brussels, Toerisme Vlaanderen and the tourism departments of Antwerp, Bruges, Ghent, Leuven and Mechelen.
4,589 Belgian and foreign leisure visitors were surveyed between April 2022 and March 2023. This report will focus on the results from Brussels (1,272 interviews) and will give us an insight into why staying visitors chose Brussels for their holiday. It will also provide information about who they are, what they did, how satisfied they were with their stay, how much they spent and much more.
