This new barometer brings together five databases (SPF Economie, Eurostat, Alltherooms, MKG, Museums) to provide a clear and concise overview of the tourism sector in the Brussels region.

This destination monitoring offers a comprehensive view of:

  • Overnight stays in hotels and youth hostels
  • Overnight stays on online collaborative economy platforms
  • Hotel occupancy rates
  • The number of visitors to museums and attractions

    These interim reports provide a preliminary analysis of the data collected to date, with the aim of placing the figures in a broader context. They offer an overview before the final consolidation of results. In addition to the data available in the tourism barometer, these reports contextualize the findings to help better understand the trends observed throughout the year.
