Low-Emission Zone (LEZ)

The Brussels-Capital Region is a Low-Emission Zone (LEZ). If you're coming by car or van, please check on lez.brussels  whether your vehicle respects the low-emission standards. If your vehicle doesn't meet the access criteria, you can buy a day pass or use one of the numerous alternatives for travelling around Brussels. If your vehicle is registered abroad, registration to be able to drive in the LEZ is free and compulsory. Thank you for playing your part in the regional effort to improve air quality and, therefore, public health!
