The different stages
Stage 1: five nominees (per category) are selected by the public
Between 6 January and 12 February 2026, members of the public have one month to vote for their favourite project in each category. At the end of this period, the five projects with the most votes are nominated and go on to the next stage.
Stage 2: the winner is chosen by the panel of judges
The judges pick the winner from the six nominees in each category (with the exception of the Brussels' Digital Content Creator of The Year Award, which is open to the public only). The names of the winners will be announced during the visit.brussels NIGHT on 26 March 2026.
Nominees will be judged on seven criteria: originality, innovation, inclusivity, the project's success, client centricity, the project's sustainability (ecological and social), the efforts to make the project accessible to persons with reduced mobility.
What's at stake?
The 5 projects to win the public vote end the jury vote, as well as the Brussels Best Reviews Award by MMGY-TCI Research, will be honoured at the visit.brussels NIGHT. The event gathers close to 200 professionals from Brussels' tourism, cultural, hotel and events sectors. In addition to being honoured by their sector in the presence of Brussels ministers, this event will be an ideal occasion for candidates to do some useful networking.
