Competition dedicated to promoting the cultural and events offering in the Brussels-Capital Region

Important information

Confirmation of the organisation of the next competition (2nd semester 2026) is currently pending. This depends on the availability of budgets in the context of current budgetary restrictions within the Brussels-Capital Region.

To stay informed about any updates, we invite you to consult this page regularly.

Each year, around 20,000 cultural and tourist events help showcase Brussels nationally and internationally. This rich and diverse offer is a major asset and resource for the Region, its residents, and its visitors from Belgium and abroad. It displays the creativity and commitment of our organisers and their values, which visit.brussels has been supporting for many years.

As an organiser of cultural and tourist events, you are part of Brussels' DNA. To support the visibility of your event, visit.brussels launches several competitions each year. These are designed to promote cultural and event offerings and to communicate about them in the Brussels-Capital Region.

Your event is eligible if:

  • Your event is held in the Brussels-Capital Region

  • Your event is likely to attract a minimum of 4,000 visitors

  • You are a natural or legal person, an organisation and/or a cultural operator (e.g. a theatre, museum, art centre, cinema, heritage site, etc.), and/or an event organiser (e.g. a festival, fair, trail, entertainment, themed event, etc.)

  • You're active in sectors that form the backbone of cultural, tourist and event offerings: comic strips, pop culture and street art, heritage, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, music and jazz, contemporary art and design, performing arts, urban arts, live arts, cinema, folklore, gastronomy, city life,…

  • You have uploaded your event on agenda.brussels and are selling tickets via our ticketing service

What does this promotional campaign involve?

Each campaign relies on three essential communication channels to reach new audiences: lamp post banners, DOOH (Digital Out of Home) and social media. These complementary media channels offer winners strategic visibility in key locations across Brussels, which allows them to reach targeted audiences repeatedly.
This mix ensures complete coverage - from the first visual contact in the city to online engagement - with each medium reinforcing the others for maximum impact.

How to participate

A competition is scheduled to be held in the Brussels-Capital Region to support organisers of cultural and tourist events through a communication campaign in the second half of 2026. It will be announced on this page in April/May 2026. However, please note that visit.brussels reserves the right to subsequently cancel part or all of the competition, depending on the funds available in the context of budgetary restrictions related to the ongoing formation of a government in the Brussels-Capital Region.
