River Jazz Festival – March
Brosella Spring Festival - March
A spring edition of Brosella? What a marvellous idea! The famous festival temporarily vacates the leafy theatre of Osseghem park to bring some swing to the walls and emblematic brick chimney of LaVallée. In an alternative, friendly and relaxed setting, the Brosella Spring Festival devotes four days to Belgian jazz and its world and folk variations. As a bonus: premieres, workshops and a delicious brunch by Cassonade, a solidarity-based restaurant from Molenbeek.
Belgian Jazz Festival – early April
With spring back in full swing, the Belgian Jazz Festival bursts into life in the Jardin aux Fleurs neighbourhood. It was in the industrial setting of the Tour à Plomb that musicians Afy and her partner Maxime Blésin launched the Belgian Jazz Festival. It's an initiative that reflects their resolutely modern image, at the crossroads of jazz and pop and blended with a variety of influences.
International Jazz Day – 30 April
Every 30 April, Brussels bops to the sound of jazz to mark International Jazz Day: bars, halls, museums, public spaces, unusual locations... It's a perfect opportunity to discover the capital from a new original and entertaining angle.

Or how to get an entire neighbourhood buzzing to the sound of jazz in all its forms.
