In the 9 years of its existence, no less than 135 Business Events Ambassadors have prepared bids with the help of visit.brussels, succeeding in welcoming more than 300,000 delegates to the capital! The organisation and staging of these events generated more than $250 million in economic spin-offs for the tourism sector! Every congress won makes Brussels stronger. Every Ambassador makes it happen!

Who is eligible?
You are an expert in your field and you feel passionate about Brussels? By no means, become a Business Events Ambassador to showcase your field and your city. Take up the challenge and candidate to attract the major business event in your sector (minimum : 500 delegates, 2 full days of events, 1 overnight, 40% international).

The current Business Events Ambassadors, reflecting the calibre of Brussels’s intellectual and business capital, come from diverse disciplines including medicine, science, environment and technology. As well as holding relevant influential positions in their field, each Ambassador is passionate about promoting Brussels as one of the world’s premier business event destinations.
With the network capped at 150 members, our mission is to keep it dynamic — continuously renewing it through targeted recruitment while ensuring every Ambassador remains active and engaged. Get them excited by connecting them with ambassadors that have gone through the process already. To achieve this, we count on the invaluable support of former participants and influential advocates, including key figures connected to major scientific institutions or priority sector ecosystems.
