Schaerbeek Station

Schaerbeek station is one of Brussels’ oldest and most versatile rail hubs. This imposing Flemish neo-Renaissance building combines passenger services with major functions in rail maintenance and freight. A protected monument, the station has been carefully repurposed to house the first part of the national railway museum.

While not an international hub, it plays a key role in the S-train network, which connects 144 stations, twelve suburban lines and tram and bus lines. In no time, you’re in a district where Art Nouveau grandeur meets the dynamic energy of a young and super-diverse neighbourhood.
