Hotels near Brussels-North with meetings facilities
The area on and around place Rogier is Brussels’ largest hotel and commercial hub. The hotels here know exactly what you need and expect. Easily accessible meeting rooms? Inspirational spaces? Comfortable bedrooms? No problem. At the Cardo Brussels, the brand-new The Standard Brussels or The Hoxton, you’ll see the high bar they set for creative meeting spaces, rooftop bars and wellness facilities. Plus, you’ll enjoy a warm atmosphere that brings that little extra. Perfect for plenaries, workshops or a casual chat at the bar afterwards.
Right in the city, right in the heart of the action. Brussels-Central station is a critical link on the North-South rail line. Every train on that route stops here, with the exception of highspeed services. Step off the platform and you’re in the pulsating heart of the capital. Within minutes on foot, you're at the Grand-Place, the Royal Quarter, Brussels Park or the Marolles.
Did you know the area around Brussels-Central was the city’s first business district? After the North-South connection was built, a maze of streets gave way to modern office buildings. Architect Alexis Dumont – also responsible for the old Citroën garage where the Kanal-Centre Pompidou will soon open – reimagined the area. First with the iconic Shell building and later the Ravenstein Gallery. Together they account for around 50,000m² of office space, ultramodern for their time. Today, the district still breathes business—just in a contemporary style.
Sparks Meeting
This modernist heritage building by Dumont – the former Shell building on rue Ravenstein – continues to host business events. Sparks Meeting transformed it into a bustling venue with 2,500m² of meeting space spread across 12 themed rooms – everything you need to boost your meeting. Each room is modular, well thought out and fully inclusive.
Authentic features like the polished travertine entrance hall, the shell sign on the corner facade and Olivier Strebelle’s flowermosaic have been preserved and are seamlessly integrated with bold, modern design.
Feel free to call the infrastructure state-of-the-art. The same goes for the food: healthy lunches, energy boosts and a catering team that works with you. Not just a run-of-the-mill meeting venue, this is a strategic choice for those who want to impress. Right opposite Brussels-Central station.

Built for Expo 58, it was refreshed in 2009 by Arne Quinze.
The centre blends art and architecture with murals by Paul Delvaux and René Magritte and a breathtaking view of the town hall spire and lower town from the main conference hall. The centre has 14 modular rooms, capable of hosting up to 2,200 delegates.
Its sustainability label, experienced multilingual team and unbeatable location make it trendy and that spot-on appeal ensures large international congresses like ISICEM have been returning year after year, for decades.

With the Eurostar terminal and direct high-speed connections to Paris, Marseille, London and Amsterdam, this is Brussels’ international hub. The growing number of night trains also connects Brussels easily to major cities like Berlin, Vienna, Prague and soon Barcelona. Every day, tens of thousands of travellers pass through the station, from commuters and congress-goers to tourists heading for meetings, conferences or city breaks.

WIELS
You’d be hard pressed to find a more influential contemporary art centre than WIELS. The walls have featured works by, among others, Francis Alÿs, Luc Tuymans, Marcel Broodthaers. The building itself is a showstopper: the former Wielemans-Ceuppens brewery and modernist masterpiece by Adrien Blomme, was carefully restored in the early 2000s. The copper brewing tanks, original tiling and monumental windows have all been preserved. Even the name WIELS is a nod to the beer once brewed here.
Its six rooms are suited for seminars, receptions, walking dinners and more. Choose the industrial grandeur of the Brewing Hall or treat your guests to panoramic views of Brussels from the rooftop terrace. For an added bonus, combine your event with a dive into WIELS’s contemporary art programme.
