Institutionally, Bxl Laïque, the Brussels region of the Centre d'Action Laïque, is a non-profit association which, since 1979, has been responsible for promoting secularism in the Brussels region. Collectively, they are women and men, workers and actors of secularism, engaged in a common action of political, social and cultural development of secularism, in the defence of democratic values, principles and ideals.
