    Do I need to buy a ticket to enter the festival?

    Yes, this is a new feature. You can only enter the festival with an individual ticket, which you can buy at the ticket booths on site. Please note that accompanied minors do not need a ticket to access the event. The entrance fee is €10 per person and includes a package of freebies. In addition, early bird tickets will be available for a limited time and for a price of €8 per ticket.

    What’s included in a festival ticket?

    The purchase of a ticket for the Eat Festival includes:

    • your personal access to the festival during the 4 days;
    • the cashless card (value: €1);
    • a Masalto coffee at the central bar;
    • a workshop of your choice at the Bordeaux Wine School;
    • an Eat Festival collector’s glass;
    • a Gimber lemonade;
    • unlimited water from the Robinetto water fountain at the central bar.

    I want to come back to the festival, do I have to pay the entrance fee each time?

    No. The purchase of a festival ticket includes your personal access to the festival during the four days. So you only need to pay the entrance fee once and you can come back as many times as you like. To top up your card, simply go to one of the ticket booths or top-up kiosks.

    What’s a "cashless" event? How does it work?

    At this “cashless” festival, you require a cashless card loaded with “Food & Drink” credits to buy consumptions. These credits are valid throughout the festival, except for the Farmers' Market, and will be your only means of payment. 1 credit = €1.

    Which means of payment are accepted at the ticket counters and the recharge points?

    All electronic means of payment are accepted at the festival to buy tickets and/or to (re)charge credits, except for American Express and meal vouchers. For security reasons, cash is not accepted.

    I bought a presale ticket. How do I get my cashless card and/or my Food & Drink credits?

    When you arrive, go to one of the festival ticket booths and show your tickets* (with barcode) sent by email. You will receive your magnetic card that grants you access to the festival, which is loaded with the credits you’ve purchased.

    * There is no need to print your tickets, you can present them on your smartphone.

    I haven’t purchased my ticket. Where can I get a card?

    When you arrive, go to one of the festival ticket booths and buy your ticket and as many Food & Drink credits as you want. These will be loaded onto a cashless card.

    How many “Food & Drink” credits can I load onto my card?

    You can load as many credits as you like. As an indication, 1 credit = €1. All dishes and desserts cost eight credits, a beer costs four credits, a cocktail ten credits and a glass of Bordeaux wine four credits. Glasses have a deposit of one euro per drink. When you return your empty glass to the bar, the deposit will be put on your card. Unused credits can be refunded from 03/10/2022.

    Where can I use my Food & Drink credits?

    The credits can be used everywhere on the festival except at the Farmers' Market. They are valid for the entire duration of the 2022 festival.

    How can I pay at the Farmers' Market?

    The producers only accept electronic means of payment (bank cards, Payconiq, etc.).

    I’m out of credits, where and when can I top up my cashless card?

    You can top up your cashless card as many times as you like at any of the festival ticket booths or at the automatic top-up kiosks on the festival site.

    I still have some credits left on my card at the end of the festival, can I get a refund?

    Refunds can only be made online, no refunds will be made at the festival ticket booths. Hold on to your card number, go to the website, fill in the refund form and that's it*.

    * Refund requests can be submitted between 03/10/2022 and 16/10/2022. After this date, unused credits will no longer be reimbursed. Only unused credits will be refunded. A €1 transaction fee will be deducted per refund transaction. No refunds on freebies, free credits or entrance fees. Minimum refund value: €2.

    How many credits can I load onto my card?

    As many credits as you like.

    I’ve lost my cashless card

    Unfortunately, we can't do anything unless you have your card number. In this case, we can block your lost card and provide you with a new one. Please be careful with your cashless card, it has monetary value.

    Is it possible to get a VAT voucher?

    If you’ve purchased during presale and would like a VAT voucher, please send an email to info@eat.brussels. Be sure to include your card number and your full billing details (company name, VAT number, etc.). We will send you a VAT voucher by email as soon as possible after the festival. Requests for a VAT voucher will no longer be possible after 16/10/2022.

    If you buy tickets and/or credits during the festival and would like a VAT voucher, please go to one of the two ticket booths with your card. Our ticketing managers will provide you with a handwritten VAT counterfoil.

    Yes, the festival offers several non-alcoholic drinks.

    Is it possible to alter the chefs' dishes?
