Shopping in Brussels

Looking to do some shopping in Brussels? You'll find everything you could wish for! The city has many neighbourhoods, each with their own vibe.

We start downtown, where exclusive designers and boutiques await you. For luxury, both of a local and more exotic flavour, head up to the capital's heights. Don't forget to take a little detour through the districts filled with big franchise stores (rue Neuve, chaussée d’Ixelles, chaussée de Gand, etc.). There really is something for all tastes and budgets!

Your day's shopping would not be complete without a visit to the many covered galleries and shopping centres (very convenient, especially with autumn just getting under way): from Europe's oldest covered gallery to the brand new shopping district that has dropped anchor at the canal.

The more inquiring among you can also expand your adventure to include the "nugget boutiques" waiting to be explored in the outskirts of the city, in poetically-named districts.

Ready? Set? …. Shop till you drop!
