Dissecting the Mythology of Power The performance takes its cue from the so-called ‘Cremationof Care’, a fantastical and decadent ritual allegedly organised by the private club Bohemian Grove in San Francisco. A ceremony in which the global political and economic elite are supposedly invited to rid themselves of their feelings of guilt. In a battered meeting room, the five actor-dancers dissect the mythology of power and lay bare the absurdity, illusions, initiation rituals and destruction that seem to define all these men — emotionally blocked somewhere between gods and teenagers. So imagine an office party at the end of the world, suspended somewhere between a Greek tragedy and a contemporary apocalypse, pop music and an epic symphony, at the intersection of dance and theatre, where beauty meets horror. A Good Man is Hard to Find was the sensation of the 2025 Venice Dance Biennale. Hailing from London’s underground scene, Bullyache create hybrid works inspired by their working-class backgrounds and queer identity. A Belgian premiere.
