In October, the community centres are organising initiatives to raise awareness of poverty and make it a topic of discussion. We also want to raise funds to support eight organisations that work day in, day out to help people living in poverty. Pop into one of the community centres and help create a warm and welcoming city where no one is left behind. GC Kontakt is serving up chips in the spirit of solidarity! Pop in, choose your favourite sauce and help support Brussels-based organisations fighting poverty. Together, we’ll turn a simple portion of chips into a heart-warming gesture of solidarity. This activity is part of ‘Een stevige patat tegen armoede’, a solidarity campaign organised by N22, the network of 22 community centres in Brussels. Together, we are committed to supporting Brussels residents in vulnerable situations. You can find more information on our campaign page.
