El rincón de los muertos
In El rincón de los muertos, Sebastián Rubio explores Ayacucho’s history and the cycles of violence that run through it.
Ayacucho derives from the Quechua words aya, death, and kuchu, corner. "Ayacucho" means "the corner of the dead," and the territory seems marked by its name.Throughout the piece, Ricardo, an actor and scissor dancer from Ayacucho, investigates his personal history and how it has been crossed by the cycles of violence that have shaken the region: the founding myth, the battle of independence, the massacre over free education, the internal armed conflict and the latest massacre against its citizens in December 2022. Every so often, it seems a quota of deaths must be fulfilled, one that gives meaning to the name.Alone on stage with two tables, a bench, a violin, a gas lamp and a set of everyday objects, Ricardo moves between testimony, archive and live performance. Projected documents and images bring the historical record into the room, while his body, his music and the scissor dance carry the memory that documents cannot hold.Ricardo comes from a family in which there are both victims and perpetrators. What can an actor with that history say? Is it possible to break the cycles of violence that seem to condemn an entire population?

Halloween@Mini-Europe
During the autumn holidays, Mini-Europe offers Halloween@Mini-Europe. It is above all an opportunity to discover how the mini skeletons and mini zombies have turned the miniature world of Mini-Europe upside down.
Tremble in fear on Halloween@Mini-Europe
During the autumn holidays, Mini-Europe offers Halloween@Mini-Europe. For two weeks, this is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of Halloween and its classic, life-size decorations, witches and pumpkins. It is above all an opportunity to discover how the mini skeletons and mini zombies have turned the miniature world of Mini-Europe upside down. Spiders have invaded the Eiffel Tower and zombies (good mummy and her little girl) create a crazy and humorous amusement park. Of course, Mini-Europe would not be Mini-Europe if a cultural feature was not added by describing the fate of witches in the Middle Ages or the story of Frankenstein for example.
From October 17 to November 8, Mini-Europe makes you tremble with fear – but also shiver with pleasure. For the occasion, the park takes on the colors of Halloween: hundreds of skeletons and monsters have turned the park upside down. It’s a party for skeletons and zombies in the Lunapark but also in and under the cemetery. What happened with the plane crash at the airport? And over there, is it the ghost train or the train of ghosts? There will be thousands of details to observe. Let’s also mention the revolt of the figurines against the model maker: in their turn to crush his arms, to drill him, to glue him and to paint him.
True to its reputation, Mini-Europe makes it a point of honor to entertain its visitors with fun and humor, but also to highlight our European heritage. Would you like to know the origins of the Halloween tradition? Not afraid of the darkest witch stories of the Middle Ages? Then you are making the right choice by visiting Mini-Europe during the autumn holidays.
Additional entertainment is planned for October 30 and 31 as well as November 1
From October 30 to November 1, our familiar 1/25 scale models will be visited by live actors and extras who will bring the park even more to life. For three days, visitors will benefit from additional entertainment. During your visit, you may come across a balloon-sculpting Bellboy looking for his haunted hotel, a pirate in search of adventure who will challenge you to a sword fight or the angel of death who will freeze your blood!
A make-up stand will allow visitors to treat themselves to an even more marked horror look.

Monster Mia
Après avoir été renvoyée de l’école, Mia est envoyée à la mystérieuse Rotwood Academy — un endroit qui la met immédiatement mal à l’aise, car elle est la seule humaine au milieu d’une classe remplie de monstres. The Halloween Fair
From 16 October to 8 November, as night falls over Tour & Taxis, the pumpkins light up, the fog rolls in and creatures emerge from the shadows. For 24 days, spanning the entire autumn school holidays (FR/NL), the Halloween Fair returns for a third edition that's more spellbinding than ever. Laughter, screams and chills guaranteed!
A fair for all ages
Climb over 30 metres high aboard the V-Max, take in the view for a few seconds… then get flung in every direction. Push open the door of the Haunted House, race bumper cars through a fog-drenched graveyard, or lose yourself in the maze… you never know who might be lurking inside. Between chills, take aim at monsters and witches at the archery or shooting stalls, try your luck at the casino, and head home with a terrifying cuddly toy or a bag of bewitched sweets.
The little ones can fish for ghost ducks, whirl around on the carousel among skeletons and bats, or hop aboard the little train for a ride through a haunted landscape.
Every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, spin the Fair's big wheel: no one loses, everyone walks away with a prize! And for hungry ghouls, there are croustillons, churros, doughnuts and Vandermeulen fries, the Brussels institution, served with Halloween-coloured sauces. Warm up with a hot drink at the bar, where witches and werewolves gather.
Costumes welcome… the ghosts are already here.
New this year: the Halloween Mystery House (ages 3-10)
From 30 October to 2 November, young adventurers explore a maze full of surprises, make their very own witch's hat, then get their faces painted as a mischievous witch or an adorable little monster. A bag of sweets is included! Budding artists aged 3 to 12 can also enter the scariest drawing contest, with prizes awarded on Halloween night. €6 per child, registration required, limited places: don't wait too long!
And all around, the whole site joins in
At BattleKart, the track plunges into the darkness of a haunted mansion, with tombstones and eerie sound effects: thrills guaranteed for drivers of all ages.
WOM reveals a whole new side of itself, with themed decor and special activities for the whole family.
On Sundays, La Fabbrica serves its "Terrifying" brunches in a completely transformed setting, while the FoodMarket tempts visitors every day with its autumn specialities.
On 24 and 25 October, Comic Con Brussels brings together fans of comics, manga, cosplay and video games.
And for adults craving darker thrills, the "Mind of a Serial Killer" exhibition offers a chilling dive into criminal psychology (not for the faint-hearted).
Enough to fill a whole day, and come back for more!
