Chicago-based Bitchin’ Bajas is the project of Cooper Crain, Dan Quinlivan, and Rob Frye. Blending synthesizers with reed and woodwind instruments, the trio weaves colourful tapestries of melodic grooves, hypnotic rhythms, and bubbling electronics. Built around the concentric layering of repeating patterns, the Bajas’ compositions unfold into expansive explorations of time and structure (Dismal Niche).
