Havind graduated in graphic design from the University of the Arts London (UAL Camberwell) and subsequently in jewellery design from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, she has developed a visual art practice enriched by the precision of drawing, the rigour of craftsmanship and the power of colour.Camille Pennequin’s world invites us to pause time and let our minds wander. Drawing inspiration from her travels, the artist goes beyond simply depicting the landscape to capture its emotion, light and atmosphere: the enchanting reflections of Venice, the brightness of Menorca and the mystery of Calabria all become fragments of memory. On the canvas, gouache and oil pastels intertwine in a tactile interplay of textures and reliefs, brought to life by free-flowing brushstrokes and vibrant colours.
