Undersang, which premieres in Belgium, unfolds as a journey through landscape, ritual and performance. It begins with a collective walk through a park near Kanal and ends inside the museum, where seven performers form an increasingly intense guttural choir. Drawing on Afro-Nordic diasporic narratives and perspectives on Blackness, nature and otherness, Harald Beharie explores the theme of belonging. Mythology, national-romantic ideals and science fiction converge in a world of ancient powers, while the body and queer imagination become tools for healing, mourning and celebration. Undersang was created with the duo Karoline Bakken Lund and Veronica Bruce and musician Christian Beharie. Presented for the first time alongside Batty Bwoy and the Belgian premiere of Sweet Spot, it offers a rare opportunity to experience Beharie's full Trilogy across different spaces in and around Kanal.
