« ENCONTRO » is a musical project born from a dialogue between Brazilian and Latin American cultures, bringing together two artists whose paths are defined by international careers and a commitment to showcasing the musical traditions of their respective countries: Argentine singer Agustina Britos and Brazilian guitarist Marcel Powell. The project grew out of artistic affinities forged through shared performances and a focus on elements common to the popular repertoires of Brazil and Latin America. This initiative seeks to reveal these connections through an intimate, acoustic approach, where music becomes a space for connection, attentive listening, and cultural exchange. This project is supported by the Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro and the State Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy, through the Mobilidades 2026 Call for Proposals.
