For the second chapter of his “Carte Blanche”, Umberto Odone presents an all-Italian chordless trio, featuring Sal La Rocca on double bass and Federico Milone on alto saxophone. Without a harmonic instrument, the trio places the focus on the dialogue between the three musicians and the freedom of improvisation. The repertoire features arrangements of standards specially adapted to this trio format, alongside a selection of original compositions.
