UN TRUC COMME ÇA is a multidisciplinary performance where poetry, improvised music and sound creation come together in a powerful live experience. Bringing together Belgian poet and actress Laurence Vielle, percussionist Michel Debrulle, guitarist Teuk Henri, bassist Louis Frères, and sound artist Christine Verschorren, the project explores the connections between words, music and the contemporary world. Guided by Laurence Vielle's poetic texts and the recorded voice of Marguerite Duras, the performance unfolds through a rich musical language blending jazz, noise, pop, tribal rhythms and free improvisation. Each artist contributes to an ever-evolving dialogue where spoken word, sound and silence interact to create immersive sonic landscapes. Balancing poetic writing with the freedom of improvisation, UN TRUC COMME ÇA reflects on memory, work, our relationship with the living world and the invisible bonds that connect us. The result is a sensitive and deeply engaging performance that invites audiences to listen, reflect and share a collective experience shaped by emotion, curiosity and hope.
