At the intersection of reality and the imagination, where one person’s truth is never another’s, art and silence are constantly reinventing themselves in this liminal space of the fleeting moment. From silence to sound, from stammering to speech, from the vibrational to the physical, from thought to language, this piece explores and allows itself to be traversed by this perpetual back-and-forth movement, in a state of ambiguity and distance from the self. This initial voice of the piano gives the floor in turn to the other lines—visual, textual, textile, scenographic—until it shifts towards those interstices that invite us to see what cannot be seen, to hear what cannot be heard, to perceive what cannot be perceived. The performance gives substance to this continuum of modulations, supporting through dance or the gaze this mystery of transition. This presence embodies these dual movements between emptiness and fullness, darkness and light, past and future. A stance that dares to let itself be traversed into a state of being outside oneself.
