Is it a shell? A horizontal drop? A blimp maybe? Nope! La Cabosse is a cocoa bean. This piece by architect Melissa Breuer was inspired by the delicious scents of the nearby Godiva factory. It oozes a sense of tranquillity that seems to slows down the hectic traffic passing by. Its water jets have a calming effect on those enjoying a drink on the nearby terraces. Its colours change at dusk, illuminating the surroundings with an artistic touch. Perfectly aligned with the Basilica, the fountain acts as the gateway to the northern communes. A true Belgian symbol guiding you through the city.
