Villers-la Ville Abbey is located in Walloon Brabant, 30 minutes south of Brussels. The Abbey is one of the most beautiful architectural sites in Europe and is an ideal environment for lovers of beautiful walks in bucolic landscapes. In the open air, its vestiges of nearly nine hundred years of history (from the Middle Ages to the present day) offer you fifteen hectares of greenery with a discovery of different gardens, from ornamental gardens to gardens with medicinal plants. Test our app: during your visit, bring your smartphone, scan the QR-codes and discover a series of free historical content to learn more about the long history of the abbey, the evolution of its architecture and the daily life of the monks who lived there for 650 years: videos, podcasts, texts, audio guide… The Abbey site includes a visitor centre, a shop that is a showcase for local producers from the region and a unique visitor route! From the hill, treat yourself to a 360° panoramic view of the site. Picnic tables allow you to prolong this pleasant moment. Discover during a guided tour the vineyard and/or the micro-brewery where six different beers are brewed. A tasting is offered at the end of the visit. End your day with a gourmet moment at the Bistro de l’Abbaye. The site is an inexhaustible source of activities - Info/agenda www.villers.be. www.villers.be
