At the Tomberg underground station you ill find yet another underground work of art - a very bright one. Monica Droste and Guy Rombouts devised an alphabet called AZART in which each letter evokes sensations rather than meaning. For example, C is for citron (lemon), so yellow, and C is for ‘courbe’ (curve), or A as in ‘Aha’, which evokes laughter. Have fun deciphering the oddities of this large tiled fresco.
