The dome of the town hall is a nod to Antiquity. We see no oracle on the horizon, yet this is where the future of Molenbeek is decided upon. Built in 1836 in an eclectic style, the building breathes an air of Antiquity - think hints of the Pantheon in the midst of the industrial revolution. The result is a strange combination of stone, brick and bronze. Original to say the least!
