At the foot of the university hospital, you will find a dozen contemporary works. Take a stroll through the garden to discover them. One of them is ‘La Faille de Schiste’ (’The Schist Fault’), created in 2000 by Anne Jones. This elegant composition is made of slates recovered from old roofs. An astonishing stack of wooden discs linked by an axis that seems to be in motion, like a spine. There is also a work by Gérald Dederen entitled ‘Self-portrait’ (1993). Finally, the striking sculpture ‘The Wind’, which looks like storm-whipped granite, but upon closer inspection, there is no sign of this mineral.
