The defunct Liesse opposite Saint-Gilles town hall has a worthy successor. A very worthy one indeed. Belle Lurette is a real feather in Brussels’ cap. We could use another unpretentious bistro serving delicious and reasonably-priced quality dishes. To give you an idea, the menu board features dishes such as duck confit croquettes with black garlic mayonnaise and grilled squid, spiced beans with tomato sauce and lemon confit cream. Hurry to discover this address, even if the kitchen doesn't close until midnight.
