Hotel Van Belle is a family-run business. Established in 1906, it was initially a pub and later became a restaurant – and a hotel in 1935, at the time of the Brussels World Exhibition. Formerly, the hotel’s clientèle consisted mainly of local residents, who held their special family celebrations, such as first communions and weddings, here. However, this tradition died out on account of the changing population. These days, the hotel caters primarily to business travellers and groups of travellers. Van Belle recently refurbished a large portion of the hotel and built a new entrance at Parc de la Rosée. The engineers of Ney & Partners accentuated the entrance to the park with two eye-catching rust-coloured steel frames.
