Railway enthusiasts will no doubt love this place. It is an extraordinary location, after all. This building dates back to 1887. More than a station, it's a temple to the railways. The architecture is eclectic, with a Flemish neo-Renaissance touch, and is extremely well thought out. The ticket office is opulent. This station seems to be designed to make you drift away; just approaching it is a journey in itself. Today it is home to Train World, the lavish railway museum, with backdrops designed by the illustrator François Schuiten, whom has so often been inspired by this place. All aboard!
