We enter the medical school campus of the University of Louvain-en-Woluwe. And medicine means nurses and nurse jokes. The fresco ‘Les Femmes en blanc’ (’Women in white’) was created by Cauvin and Bercovici, a French cartoonist with a style reminiscent of the school known as Marcinelle, where the journal Spirou was born. Bercovici launched the ‘Femmes en Blanc’ series, consisting of 41 albums, in 1981. The dirty humour made it a great success.
