At the exit of the park, you can see a bronze bust of King Baudouin by Henri-Hubert Lenaerts (1983). Not far away, you can admire two sculptures in basaltic lava by the German artist Georg Hüter (1999) facing each other. They are made of blocks of basalt, a very hard and dense volcanic stone from German quarries. They almost look like two separate jaws. One with its teeth turned towards the sky. The other, towards the earth.
