This really original facade by famous architect Jean Gilson features a trapezium that looks like a solid wall. To see past it, passers-by have to look up to the sky. That’s when the sculpture by artist Zygmunt Dobrzycki appears, with colours and patterns that make you detach yourself from your own self. This functional architecture, with a 1970s vibe, recalls the popular vocation of the church. Contemporary worshippers are invited to venture into a building supported by fine sculpted stone posts that recall the concept of fragility. This fragility is only consolidated by charity, as advocated by Saint Martin.
