Founded in 2015, Ludovic Elens is a Maison d’Artisans spectacle maker based in Brussels, welcoming visitors to its atelier in the Sablon area of the city. Here, eyewear is shaped by hand by a team of craftsmen, with a focus on fine craftsmanship and contemporary elegance. At Ludovic Elens, each frame starts with a conversation, whether for bespoke pieces conceived entirely to measure or for the Jazz Collection, made to order and adapted in material, size, and colour. The process unfolds within the atelier itself, offering a rare opportunity to see how frames are designed, made, and adjusted on site. Today, an increasing number of clients travel to Brussels specifically to visit the atelier. While many come from across Belgium and Europe, others arrive from further afield, including the United States, drawn by the opportunity to work directly with the team and create a frame that is truly their own.
