Looking for a top-class dinner? Brasserie La Paix will be happy to serve you! This hotel formerly offered lodgings to the livestock traders who flocked here from near and far to visit the livestock market. You will still find evidence of the brasserie’s past here in the shape of the counter where the traders could put their cash in the bank immediately after the market. Nowadays, this restaurant is primarily a venue for business lunches. The kitchen is run by French chef David Martin, who took over the restaurant from his parents-in-law in 2006. The brasserie, which is famous for its steaks, sirloin steaks and beef tenderloin, boasts a Michelin star.
