We've already highlighted how Saint-Josse is home to an eclectic community, which is perfectly represented in the mural ‘Couleur Café’. This is a work by Judith Vanistendael, a modern-day star of Flemish comics. Note the musical instruments as a common thread. It's true that music has no language. It speaks to all ears. This work is also a reference to the yearly Couleur Café festival, which brings together musicians from all over the world in Brussels. It's a wonderfully colourful wake-up call.
