The Parchis mural can be admired from the Tour & Taxis Park greenhouse. Cartoonist Peter Willems, from Ghent, humorously depicts the activities of the district. To create the drawing, he took his inspiration from the popular Moroccan game, parchis, a board game that uses pawns. Familiar features of the district, like the vegetable gardens, the inhabitants playing parchis and the Jubilé Bridge, are easily recognisable. Creator: Peter Willems
