This living museum will introduce you to the history of the military crossbow guild of Brussels established by the Duchess Jeanne de Brabant in 1381. Discover the ‘Grand Serment Royal et de Saint-Georges des Arbalétriers de Bruxelles’, its many medals and titles awarded during the visits of the Belgian sovereigns, along with numerous flags and standards. Dive into the history of the mysterious crossbow through exhibits and prizes won by the Companions of the Guild. Throughout the year, this guildhall still hosts the rituals of the Oath and organizes shooting demonstrations carried out by the Companions themselves.
