Maison Allard is an elegant mansion built in 1898. This was a time of tremendous economic growth for Belgium. The Belle Époque. New fortunes were made. Luxurious homes were built in the suburbs of Brussels, which were then rural areas, some of them covered with forests. This villa is a fine example of the Flemish Neo-Renaissance style. A bit of pomp as an ode to this glorious period that left its mark on the history of Belgium. The back garden is a remnant of the landscape of the time.
