The church of Our Lady of Laeken with its Neo-Gothic style was commissioned by Leopold I in honour of his wife who wished to be buried in Laeken. She loved Laeken so much that she wanted to live here for eternity. In a manner of speaking. A crypt was also built to contain the remains of the whole Belgian royal family. Watch out for noble ghosts! The aspiring young architect Joseph Poelaert was entrusted with its completion. Was he too ambitious? Called away to build the mammoth Palais de Justice, he didn't have time to finish the job. As a results, certain niches and other details are missing due to a lack of resources. See if you can find them!
