The Waterbus is a public transport system operating on the canal. It provides a shuttle service between Brussels, the Van Praet bridge and Vilvoorde and runs from 1 May to 31 October. The Waterbus is an excellent extension of public transport. Tourist attractions, shopping and residential areas, and business centres are all within easy reach. Bicycles are also welcome on board! The Waterbus is a stress-free way to get around the city and discover the rapidly changing canal zone. It's an alternative form of public transport that offers a different view of Brussels along the water.
