Jennifur, a Belgian producer and DJ, creates electronic love ballads that live in the space between head and heart, control and surrender. His music is an exploration of the hidden — the thrilling and the melancholic — capturing moments of transition, like the suspended time of a car ride between Point A and Point B. It’s introspective yet cinematic, weaving narratives for those navigating the search for motivation, connection, solitude, and love. His sound bridges Indie Rock, UK Bass, Electronica, and Classical influences, with tracks that feel like scoring a romcom.
Since debuting in 2022 with Nowhere, Now Here — a soundtrack created for the video game Shredders — Jennifur has continued to evolve his artistry. His 2023 LP, Things Don’t Change Until They Do (Sweet Sun Records), explores the bittersweet nature of growth and memory. His name soon surfaced in key tastemaker outlets, including NME, Metal Magazine, DJ Mag, FAZEMag, and more. For now he is gearing up to release his third record, set for release after the summer.

LIZLiz is the musical project of Lies Neyrinck (21), a singer-songwriter from West Flanders. She shares her stories through a unique blend of folk, indie and pop. Her poetic lyrics explore themes of guilt, grief and youth. Intimate, honest and somewhere between the worlds of Phoebe Bridgers, Gracie Abrams and Glen Hansard.NOONZYThe Antwerp-based songwriter Noonzy (Arnaud Stockbroekx) blends playfulness with groovy electronic influences in his alternative indie-pop tracks. Following his self-produced 2022 EP ‘Post-it-tapes,’ which earned him a spot in the finals of the Nieuwe Lichting competition a year later, he evolved in 2025 with ‘Puppies’ ([PIAS] Recordings) toward larger, groovy productions that gave his artistic identity a sharper edge. Now he is letting go of his former DIY, lo-fi approach and making room for experimentation and a loss of control within an indie-pop framework. He proves this on his first studio album, created in collaboration with producer Nathan Jenkins (Bullion): an album that feels familiar, yet is full of musical surprises and alternative pop songs. Sergeant Sergeant makes music as if it were editing a quirky film. The trio cuts, pastes, reorganises and starts from scratch until everything falls into place. Filmmaker and composer Benjamin Cools, singing actor Ferre Marnef and sound-surfer Geraldine Vanspauwen manoeuvre effortlessly between the fringes of postpunk, the driving motoric rhythms of krautrock and an unpredictable sensibility for pop that defies classification. Live, that sound is even more intense: songs stretch out, derail, take on new forms, and invariably end up in places that you didn’t see coming. That’s exactly how we want to discover their new album Symbols, released in May via Stroom. Another Dancer Two years after their debut, Brussels-based art-rock quintet Another Dancer returns with The Plot. Their second album is a free-spirited, colourful pop album that goes straight for your third eye. A strategy for those seeking a new way to escape melancholy. The ingredients are familiar, but the universe has grown and the focus is sharper.The Plot (released in September on Leuven’s Aguirre label) draws on four decades of unconventional pop music. And it has the night feeling more transparent.

Son Lux scored A24’s Best Picture winner Everything Everywhere All at Once, for which they were nominated for two Academy Awards and a BAFTA, as well as Marvel Studios Thunderbolts* (2025) and upcoming Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother (2026).

This event will take place at 2:00 PM at AB Salon, Steenstraat 11, 1000 Brussels.Photographer Jim Saah was there in Washington D.C. when, in the 1980s and 1990s, a young generation was shaping its own music and culture. With his camera, he followed the local hardcore punk scene up close, from Minor Threat, Faith and Void to the many people and places that helped shape the scene.In My Eyes: Photographs 1982–1997 offers a glimpse into the hardcore and music scene of that era, but also touches on something that remains relevant today: the importance of places and communities where there is room for music, creativity and independence.As Saah himself says: “The punk music I discovered changed the way I look at the world. Ultimately, punk music gave me the ability to think for myself and let music and art open my mind.”During this author talk, Jim Saah will take you through a selection of his favourite photographs and the stories behind them. Before she was Mel C of the Spice Girls, she was Melanie Chisholm — an 18-year-old dance student discovering rave culture in the early ’90s. Mesmerised by breakbeats, basslines and the sense of freedom on the dance floor, she immersed herself in the UK’s emerging club scene before answering a life-changing ad that would lead her to global fame with the Spice Girls.
With her latest album Sweat, Chisholm reconnects with those formative rave years. Recorded between London, Stockholm and Los Angeles, the record is a vibrant love letter to dance floors, community and joy. Blending Melanie C the pop icon with Melanie C the DJ, tracks like the electro-house title cut — sampling Diana Ross — and the glittery disco anthem Undefeated Champion celebrate resilience, movement and the power of music to lift us up.
Both euphoric and emotional, Sweat also embraces vulnerability, drawing from personal experiences and heartbreak while keeping the energy of the club alive. Since stepping behind the decks in 2018, Chisholm has played iconic venues from Ibiza to major festivals, bringing her love of rave culture full circle.
More than 25 years after the Spice Girls reshaped pop culture, Melanie C continues to evolve — as a singer, DJ and performer equally at home in underground clubs and stadiums. Heretoir’s post-metal, with its black metal-tinged darkness, hits the road with two guest acts
Heretoir has always been pure emotion. The pain of modern life set to music.
With their fourth full-length "Solastalgia", the German purveyors of soaring post metal work their way to their innermost core and deliver what is easily their most vulnerable and accessible record to date. Solastalgia describes the grief over the loss of the natural world and the very existence of such a term brutally exposes our alienation from this planet. While some of the albums’ songs deal with environmental issues, others focus on personal feelings and the challenges of human existence in a rapidly changing world. And yet the desperate beauty of "Solastalgia" proves to be an unlikely source of comfort.
Heretoir have previously toured Europe, Asia and Latin America and played alongside acts like Alcest, Killswitch Engage or Kalmah and can’t wait to hit the road again in support of their new album. After exploring their dark and grim side on "Nightsphere", their style is now going into a slightly different direction: The songs of "Solastalgia" cover a wide range from Modern Metal to Black Metal to Post Rock to even Screamo. Whatever you want to call it: essentially, this is pure melancholy and a spark of hope in utter darkness.

Unreqvited began in 2016 with the release of their debut LP “Disquiet” (Pest Productions). This was followed up by 2018’s “Stars Wept to the Sea” (Avantgarde Music) as well as “Mosaic I” (Northern Silence Productions). Unreqvited then signed a 5- album deal with German dark music label Prophecy Productions and proceeded to release 2019’s “Mosaic II”, 2020’s “Empathica”, and 2021’s “Beautiful Ghosts”.
2025 marked the release of “A Pathway to the Moon”, which was a significant sonic evolution that was heavily crafted with the live show in mind, embarking on a daring and novel exploration into a predominantly lyrical realm and diverging from the traditional Unreqvited sound.
Unreqvited made its live debut in 2023 and has since been performing across North America, bringing its atmospheric sound to audiences far and wide. With a commitment to touring as extensively as possible, the project aims to expand its presence worldwide in the coming years.
Nidare
Nidare craft a sound where atmospheric soundscapes meet the raw intensity of post-black metal, drawing inspiration from Deafheaven, Der Weg einer Freiheit, Amenra and Oathbreaker, while carving out a singular voice of their own. Shaped by cross-continental roots and a shared urge to push the genre’s boundaries, the Berlin band move between atmospheric tension and visceral heaviness with striking emotional depth.
After a DIY demo in 2019 and a split release with Welk, Argon and Lazar, Nidare made a strong impression with their debut album Von Wegen (2022) via Through Love Records, followed by Naehe und Flackern and the 2024 EP Es laesst nicht los, ich jedoch laengst. Across more than 120 shows throughout Europe, they have built a reputation for cathartic live performances and an uncompromising approach to post-black metal.
Now joined by vocalist Christopher, bassist Yaryna and guitarist David, Nidare continue to expand their sound with new layers and renewed energy. Their second full-length, recorded in 2026 and due in early 2027, marks the next chapter for a band steadily establishing itself as a compelling force in the contemporary metal landscape.

Between rap and chanson, between youth and adulthood
They burst onto the scene in 2019 with L’Adresse, an unexpected album from these three young artists who were discovered on the internet with their series of cover songs, ‘On vient gâcher tes classiques’ (We're here to ruin your classics). With a platinum disc, ‘Côte Ouest’ on everyone's lips, and sold-out concerts, 47Ter (a name that refers to the address of their neighbourhood's community hall, remember) knew from the outset how to impose their original style, neither quite rap nor completely chanson, a unique mix of words and melodies with an irresistible pop flavour. Pierre Paul, Blaise and Lopes, Bailly's three accomplices (Yvelines, 78), are back after three years of uncertainty since their last album, torn between nostalgia for adolescence and disillusionment with the adult world. This new project takes stock of the last quarter of a century: how can we move forward in this world without losing ourselves? How can we convince ourselves that we can enjoy it?

Anti-capitalist iconoclasm in which dry beats, political statements and clever wordplay overlap
IJSLAND is no land, it is a supergroup. Sef and Abel find each other, repel each other and then find each other again, like charged particles resulting in a series of nuclear explosions. Purely intuitively, just like the previous album, IJSLAND 2 was put together within a week. Again, produced entirely by Antwerp super-producer DJ Faisxl, IJSLAND's fifth Beatle.IJSLAND 2 demands that you sit on the edge of your seat for almost 50 minutes. That you laugh, that you cry, that you scream. The album is about terror, cake, conspiracies and disappointments. Under the guise of “more is more”, there is no hesitation to mix genres. Ultimately, this results in an album that can be described as intense, complex and overwhelming, mirroring the times we live in.Their second co-creation may have been banged together in a week again, but it is twice as long as its predecessor. Fifteen tracks, including intro, outro and the occasional catchy autotune chorus, ready to set the festival fields (and AB Club) aflame.Quite a lot happened between IJSLAND 1 and IJSLAND 2. Cabinets fell, wars were waged. Sef had his most successful year ever with his acclaimed album Lieve Monsters, that he took on a sold-out tour. Abel released the Edison-nominated album ER IS HOOP* with Hang Youth and wrote the bestseller Chaotisch Denken Voor Gevorderden for Das Mag.ABOUT ABEL Abel van Gijlswijk. Who doesn’t know him?
