Lena Willikens
Layering extended lines of polyrhythmic thought that can only be properly understood in-the-flow – by bodies in motion – Lena Willikens can switch gears in the blink of an ear between upfront UK bass mutations, motorik offbeats, and nEuropean synth curios – all is welcome as long as it is twisted in a one-of-a-kind way, and no two sets are ever the same. Lena hosts 2 regular shows on NTS (Homunkuli, and Lightning Conductor), holds down a DJ residency at Düsseldorf’s free-spirited club/bar Salon Des Amateurs, and releases her own productions on Dekmantel Rec. More or less permanently traveling to clubs and festivals all around the globe (often in the fine company of her spiritual brethren-partner-fan Vladimir Ivkovic), the term “DJ royalty” just might have been coined for an artist such as Lena Willikens.

Donia
Co-founder of the Brussels based label Sketchy Lines Records (and beloved Beursschouwburger), Donia roams the streets of this world in a permanent pursuit of percussion-loaded and bass-heavy sonics. She has been described as a local-global dopamine dealer, who stretches genres until they lose their ego, allowing you to focus on your inner dance. Welcome back

Drum & Beer #45: Cellarman & Phase3 Bday Bash
Our fortyfifth party is up with a double birthday bash !
We will be celebrating the birthdays of Cellarman and Phase3 in the first location where Drum & Beer felt at home, L’Excelsior Stam Cool Cafe in Jette.
Curated by Phase3, this event’s line up is focused on diversity and inclusion - Ukrainian-born DJ, Halushko, well known Dutch artist Operator21 and Romanian vocalist and producer Raluca Stan from Resurgence. A Cellarman B2B Phase3 set with Seka on the scratches will be the first act of the night.
Musical variety is on board, we always encourage our DJs to build a diverse musical journey, with a general stylistic direction ; this time we’ve organised the timetable to start with deep rollers and go to the harder side of DnB, but many different sounds will pop up in between.
The event takes place at Excelsior Stam Cool Cafe, a nice small bar next to Jette’s train station. The place is cozy, with that old school Brussels bar decor from times past, reminding you that this bar has been around for a very long time. Their team is super nice, and they’ve been keeping the cultural heart of Jette pumping strong by hosting a large diversity of events on a regular basis for many years.
Their beer menu is huge and very well chosen, boasting over 100 different beers, with more than half of them coming from local craft producers. You can even explore their drinks menu online: https://excelsior.cafe/. If you want to discover the large taste palette that Belgium's beers offer, you’re at the right place !
We are proud of the values that guide our actions at Drum & Beer:
Quality, Respect, Tolerance, Sharing, Fun, Transparency, and Integrity.
We are also very proud to see that our audience has picked up on them and is putting them in practice, so we ask you kindly to keep them in mind and apply them as much as you can when taking part in our events, to help us keep the atmosphere as true to our intention as possible.
Accessibility
- Bus 14 and 88 stop at Gare de Jette (3 min. walk), Bus 13 and 83 stop at Eugène Toussaint (6 min. walk)
- Tram 19 stops at Gare de Jette (3 min. walk), trams 51, 62 and 93 stop at Cimetière de Jette (7 min. walk).
- Metro 6 stops at Stuyvenbergh (20 min. walk)
- Train: Jette Station (2 min. walk)
- Bike: There are bike stalls near the venue to securely attach your bike to. The neighborhood is pretty safe, so with a good quality bike lock you should be fine, but if you come with an electric bike and feel safer bringing the battery into the bar, we can put it on the side of the stage in a safe spot if you ask us kindly.
- Car: Parking on the street is free from 20.00 to 09.00, but you’ll probably need to drive around a bit to find a parking spot. There are several paying parkings 10 to 15 minutes walking from the venue, but in this area I think the easiest is parking on the street. If you come from outside Brussels, you can park your car in a P+R parking on the outside of the city, some are even outside of the LEZ (Low Emission Zone), so you don’t get a fine if your car is not allowed inside it, and you will be able to take public transport from the parking to the party.

C12 Nite w/ Objekt, NVST, dirtydms, dj sweet6teen, ttyfal
Berlin Objekt returns with his signature, head-turning selection and curious twists in the company of C12 resident NVST and Dutch emerging dirtydms. C11 is soundtracked by ttyfal’s curation: her and dj sweet6teen will blend Y2K infused house, crafting an intimate flow on the floor.
Objekt is TJ Hertz, a producer and DJ living in Berlin. Born in Tokyo to British-American and Filipino parents, Hertz grew up in Belgium and the UK before settling in Berlin in 2009. He first became known for head-turning club records, beginning with the self-released stamped whitelabel 12”s Objekt #1 and #2 in 2011, and following these up with remixes for Radiohead and SBTRKT and releases on influential dance music labels such as Hessle Audio. In parallel, Objekt has built a reputation as one of the must-see DJs of his generation. Selected as Mixmag’s DJ of the Year in 2018, he thrives in festival tents and sweatbox basements alike. His DJing style is equal parts wild and laser-focused, employing a precise and highly technical mixing style in a dynamic and expressive way, while paying little heed to genre or BPM and feeding off spontaneity and crowd energy. Hertz’s DJing is unpredictable: one night he might duck and dive through half a dozen genres in pursuit of an unhinged party atmosphere (especially if he’s playing b2b with his dear friend and partner in crime, Call Super). Another night he might guide you by the hand through a bewildering psychedelic wormhole. It’s these qualities that make his recorded sets so beloved – from his 2020 Essential Mix, to the widely-shared recording of his 8-hour set at New York clubbing institution Nowadays in 2021, to his 2016 mix CD for Berlin techno institution Tresor, Kern Vol. 3, which was described by
Resident Advisor as “a window into the very essence of DJing”.
C12 resident, Tresor family member, Swiss DJ and producer NVST emerged from Lausanne’s free party and illegal rave circuits, a background that continues to shape her physical, high-tension approach to club music. Her sets move through breakbeat, techno, acid and industrial without settling, driven by a sharp sense of structure and rupture, where intensity builds, collapses and reconfigures in real time. Rather than navigating genres, NVST works the dancefloor as a space of friction and release, balancing precision with instability.
Emerging from Dutch undercurrents, DJ and producer dirtydms (she/her) shapes sound into playful turns, heavy pressure, and the thrill of the unexpected. Low-end and percussion form the backbone of her sound, while her work as a CGI artist gives her approach a deeply tactile, visual sense of movement. dirtydms has moved through spaces and stages including Draaimolen, Nous'klaer, Horst, Dekmantel, and Rewire, among others.
Emerging from the vibrant city of Cologne, dj sweet6teen is known for uncovering rare and slept-on gems from the 90s and 2000s, seamlessly blending genres to create an intimate vibe on the dancefloor. Her genre-fluid approach ensures that each performance is a fresh and exhilarating experience, characterized by timeless and groovy records that resonate with audiences on a deep level. Being the visionary force behind Phantasy Dance, a dynamic platform that curates and showcases artists from across the globe, she has taken over clubs throughout Europe, creating spaces where people can connect and celebrate the art of dance music.
In the realm of club culture activism, ttyfal is a versatile force— journalist, promoter, producer—but her true passion shines in the DJ booth. With a deep love for drums and basslines, ttyfal specializes in blending sultry progressive and tech house. After playing a pivotal role in projects in her hometown of Leipzig, ttyfal is now making waves in Brussels, performing at renowned events and venues. In 2023, she debuted her first EP under the moniker Duo Paradiso, collaborating with Chocolate Grinder.

Expect a surprising, percussive and punchy set. For Pink Night, he teams up with Petite Fleur (video) for an A/V set that will delight your ears and dazzle your eyes! Get ready to bust out your best dance moves!
Elkka
After inviting a London-based artist for the first time last year, we once again looked to the British capital this year. That's where we found Elkka, not only founder of the label Femme Culture, but also of the queer parties 'Prism of Pleasure'. Since we're suckers for a 'sweaty steamy love affair', there was no doubt in our minds. We're thrilled to present this Welsh DJ and producer, whose queer awakening happened in London. Her sound moves between anthemic, vocal-led euphoria and hazy, low-slung deep house — euphoric and sultry all at once.
Love Chaos Again
Love Chaos Again brings together three enfant terribles of Brussels’ nightlife, joining forces to bring the PinkScreens festival to a joyful close. The fusion of their worlds creates a new, hybrid and bouncy creature: soft-hearted, raw in energy, and fiercely eager to bring together all the queeros of the city and other galaxies.
Nazanin
You might already know Iranian artist and DJ Nazanin as Floèmee, her musical project whose single 'Bracts recall' is set to drop later this year. In her DJ sets, she takes you through bass-heavy, breakbeat-driven club music from around the world. She draws inspiration not only from the bass scene, but also from leftfield techno, experimental club sounds, and IDM, which occasionally creep into her sets.

BLUR with Sedef Adasï, Dyed Soundorom, Ava Eva, Poppy
We’re starting November with Sedef Adasï in the Sub, and Dyed Soundorom all night long!
Born and raised in Augsburg, Germany, with Turkish roots, Sedef has established herself over the past few years as one of the standout figures of the European club scene. A Panorama Bar resident and the force behind HAMAM Nights, she has developed a sound entirely her own, moving freely between house, acid, electro, breaks, techno and unexpected detours.
Behind the decks, her impeccable mixing technique, instinctive reading of the dancefloor and unmistakable sonic signature make her a truly formidable DJ.
Around her, our dear resident Poppy will set the tone before Sedef, with Ava Eva closing the night.
Meanwhile, in the Studio and its killer sound system, we welcome back our now very familiar House Music Maestro Dyed Soundorom, famously known for being a member of the trio Apollonia, returning for the third time at BLUR, this time for an all night long set we’ve been eagerly waiting for.

about
Ettijahat – Independent Culture was founded in Syria in 2011 and has since become one of the most active organisations supporting Arab arts in exile. With legal status in Belgium (ASBL) and deep roots across the Arab cultural landscape, Ettijahat operates at the intersection of two worlds – embedded in the realities of cultural production in the Arab region and fluent in the institutional logics of the European sector.
For over a decade, Ettijahat has developed sustained programmes supporting artists working under conditions of displacement, precarity, and political constraint, through residencies, production grants, mobility support, advocacy, and the creation of transnational networks. Rawabet is the most ambitious expression of this commitment to date, bringing together partners across five European countries to support emerging artists through a full three-year development arc.
This dual anchoring – in Europe and the Arab world – shapes the organisation's approach. Ettijahat neither imports nor exports culture; it works at the point where the two landscapes meet, with all the tension and possibility that entails.

A transgressive gesture to open Charleroi danse’s 26.27 season at La Raffinerie : the creation of a doorway! The Multipurpose hall will have its own entrance into the Cassonade courtyard, a social speak-easy for solidarity, created by Alwakan. Within this spatial breach, a broader form of nightlife is being invented, where community-based artistic and dynamic practices come together.

CAVE invites Kluster - Stranger Sounds (A little party never killed nobody)
CAVE invites Kluster - Stranger Sounds - Friday 13 November 2026
This November, we’re back at UMI… and it’s Friday the 13th.
For this special edition, we’re inviting our friends from KLUSTER Madrid and their resident DJ, Dave Urania. He’ll be behind the decks alongside emerging local talent Andy Bellini and our resident Thomas M. Together, they’ll keep you dancing and shivering all night long.
This time, we’re opening the main room and making space for play on the first floor: our secret playroom and the entire floor transformed into a cruising area.
It’s going to be a terrifying Friday the 13th. Get ready for music that will make you tremble and a night of fright you won’t want to end.
Because remember: A little party never killed nobody.

Forty Two presents From House to Trance
A musical journey through tech house, uk garage and trance, with one goal in mind: making sure you want to dance until dawn.
In The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, 42 is the answer to life, the universe and everything. Our answer is music.
Forty Two is a new Brussels party collective built around a simple idea: a night should be one journey, not a warm-up for a headliner. House, melodic techno, trance, hardgroove and techno flow into each other with no artificial walls between them. Every track earns its place, and the arc of the night matters as much as its peak.
For our first edition we take over Barrio on Friday 13 November with six acts: Bisoux, Forty Two, Jef Nice, STYN, Schokozitrone [Berlin] and Think Twice.
No VIP area, no hierarchy: just a warm, intimate room and a crowd that came to lose itself in the music. Leave the phone in your pocket, stop thinking, and let the night take you.
Tickets via Weeztix. Follow @fortytwo_be for updates.

BLUR with Sanctus Libido, Andy Martin, Rigo, Bobbi Watson, Ina Kaysen
So much talent from so many different horizons on the 14th of November at BLUR.
In the Sub, we’re thrilled to welcome Mexico-born, Brussels-based Andy Martin, one of the finest names in deep, hypnotic techno right now. His latest EP on Kia’s Animalia completely blew us away, and with his precision behind the decks and serious dancefloor energy, expectations are high.
Taking over for the closing is French sorceress Bobbi Watson, effortlessly weaving broken beats, deep techno, twisted rhythms and unexpected gems into her own singular universe. A perfect recipe to keep us locked in until 7am.
Opening the room is our dear little sister Ina Kaysen, whose endless passion for music and obsessive search for unique records impresses us more every time she plays.
Over in the Studio, two serious diggers take control. First up, RIGO: navigating the edges of the club, where tempo unravels with patience and textures gather weight, he’s been shaped by old school body music, hypnotic techno and rhythms charged with subtle tension. His sets move with a raw yet organic precision, defined by contrast and flow.
Then Sanctus Libido, member of Das Firmament, comes straight from their live performance at Misty Spells to close the Studio with another three-hour set.
Serious musical level all night long. Come early, stay late, and enjoy the journey.
